The story behind the image

An infant hidden beside the Nile is found by Pharaoh’s daughter. She recognizes a Hebrew child and chooses to care for him; Moses’ sister helps arrange for his own mother to nurse him. The illustration gathers the discovery around the basket among the reeds. A small, vulnerable life becomes the center of a story that will change the future of a people.
