At a well beyond Abraham’s homeland, his servant searches for a wife for Isaac. Rebekah offers water to the traveler and then to his camels, answering the sign he has asked for. The illustration concentrates on the exchange beside the well. A small act of hospitality becomes the beginning of a much larger family story.
